MEET THE STAFF

KATELYN COX

Executive Director

Katelyn has always had a love for children. After obtaining a B.S. in marriage and family studies at Brigham Young University, she returned to her hometown of Fairmont in the hopes of assisting the families in her community. Having relatives affected by the foster care system has given Katelyn a greater desire to serve the abused and neglected children in the community.

AMBER FANCHER

Advocate Supervisor

Amber grew up in Fairmont, WV and obtained a degree in B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in family studies from WVU. She has worked with children her entire career and has a desire to help kids break the cycle of abuse and neglect and live healthy and happy lives. In addition to her work with CASA, she's busy caring for a family of 6 and volunteering in the community.

SARA DOWNEY

Advocate Supervisor

Welcome Sara, our newest staff member! Sara grew up in Fairmont and has lived here all of her life. She obtained a RBS degree from Fairmont State University with a specialization in Socia Work. After being a CASA Volunteer, Sara decided that her future needed a bigger role in advocating for the abused and neglected children in Marion County.
